Show Star: Puddles

On October 5, 2025, Big Farm announced or teased a third Show Star is coming to the game, with no date announced. We now know that Puddles the frog will be released soon. Puddles gives water and humus every 5 hours.

Show Animals and the Show Barn are available for farms level 21 and above.

The first thing experienced players will ask is if it will be 'not good' like Nemo. I have seen this Show Star and I personally think it will challenge, it not replace, Princess on most farms.

Like the previous Show Stars, this one will be introduced with an event. Upon completion, you received Puddles Level 1, and the abiltiy to purchase a shard chest to upgrade them for 40,000 gold, advertised as a limited time purchase while the event runs. The chest rewards 2-500 shards, heavily weighted to a low number of shards. I personally would think that spending 40,000 gold would guarantee at least 3 shards for the first upgrade, but it doesn't. I expect, that like the other Show Stars before them, the chest will be available for gold purhcase during Best Seller (blue bag) events as well.

Some of the tasks are harvesting stables, orchards or fields, a number of times and are designated with an 'x', like eggs 25x means harvest chickens 25 times.

To prepare for this event, having a barn full of wheat for the 5th task is huge. I would also recommend using some water to make milk time boosters, and use the Halloween seasonal to make seaweed humus for the wheat task. It's important to note that it's the number of harvests, so temping 6 fields counts as 6 harvests, even though they are level 1.

Show Star events are met with very mixed reviews. Most larger farms or tempers could accomplish them in a few days. Smaller and intermittent farms struggled greatly. I don't know how long this version of the event will run. Even if you can't finish it, this event is a great opportunity to earn animal tokens.
