Legend and Footnotes Below
You can pick some happiness options below to adjust the table. Remember that space with decorations on it can't produce any items to sell. Read more about happiness here.

You have 4 options - barn (including harvesting while full), market, ship and train. Your best option, especially when starting out, is the market. The market gives cash and materials, both which are needed for growth, upgrades, and expansion.
The ship and train where introduced later in the game. Both offer more money for your products IF you fill complete sections, but don't give materials. They were introduced in a phase where the game was doing everything it could to slow down and hinder your farm.
The ship gives you a low base amount for your items, which then goes up in the form of bonuses for competing holds (rows), which is reflected in the table. The worse thing you can do is fill all but one crate in a hold. The ship is a good second priority because they can be done quickly, gives a nice cash infusion, gives Barnacle coins and boosters, and a nice market point boost in tournaments.
The train pays nothing for products but gives bonus cash for filling 2, 5, and 7 cars. A car is both crates. Trains take a week to fill and can really hurt your ability to make feed. They are great for some extra points during a tournament, but if you need more fields to fill them, instead of livestock and orchards, I would debate it's true value. A level 4 apple run 4 times per day will generate over $500,000 per week, and 900 nails or 6,800, without any bonuses taken into account.
The ship and train are Too Bad, So Sad. If you don't click the button to send them (let them leave when the time expires), you don't get any of the bonuses.
Currently, roughly 45% of market orders give 68% of the cash for 254% more experience. Both prices are reflected in the table and you can pick and choose contracts to get the better price. It does not affect materials or market xp. This used to only apply to research material contracts, and it is my most disliked game mechanic.
This is the player level the product is unlocked.
This is the cost for a single production run for the happiness selected.
This is the amount the item can be purchased for from the barn in cash or gold if not in stock and needed.
This is the farm cash you will get selling the item in the barn or when harvesting.
This is the amount the item can be purchased for from the merchant. Rounding errors will add or subtract one unit.
This is the farm cash you will get selling the item in the market. 48% of contracts offer the lower price, listed first, giving higher XP in exchange.
This is the amount the item will sell for in the ship.
This is the amount the item will sell for in the ship, adjusted for if you fill a complete hold (row). Any combination of partially filled holds will lower this value.
This is the farm cash you will get selling the item on the train. 2, 5 and 7 cars are adjusted for the bonuses for completing cars.
1 - Crop is included in regular contracts under level 100, and timed contracts for all levels.
2 - Gray wool is not available for purchase from the barn. It can be bougth once per day from the daily store (shopping cart).
3 - White wool is a secondary product of the rabbit hutch (level 5+), so the cost to make is actually free, or included in making gray wool.
4a - Sugar cane (ingredient) comes from the Candy Adventure Farm: level 2 fields. (Adventure Farm Level 6?+)
4b - Berries (ingredient) comes from the Nordic Adventure Farm: level 1 berry orchard. (Adventure Farm Level 12+)
4c - Oranges (ingredient) comes from the Tropical Adventure Farm: level 1 fields. (Adventure Farm Level 1+)
5a - Requires level 8 manufactory. Data coming soon
5b - Requires level 11 manufactory. Data coming soon
5c - Requires level 12 manufactory. Data coming soon
